¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.

¹⁷ For he breaketh me with a tempest, And multiplieth my wounds without cause.

⁹ Before your pots can feel the thorns, He will take them away with a whirlwind, the green and the burning alike.

¹⁸ For ye are not come unto `a mount' that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

²⁷ and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof.

¹¹ say unto them that daub it with untempered `mortar', that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

¹² Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it?

¹³ Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my wrath; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

¹⁴ So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered `mortar', and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be uncovered; and it shall fall, and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.

³⁰ And Jehovah will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of `his' anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, and tempest, and hailstones.

¹⁷ And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plummet; and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding-place.

³ Our God cometh, and doth not keep silence: A fire devoureth before him, And it is very tempestuous round about him.

⁶ Upon the wicked he will rain snares; Fire and brimstone and burning wind shall be the portion of their cup.

²⁰ Terrors overtake him like waters; A tempest stealeth him away in the night.

²¹ The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth; And it sweepeth him out of his place.

²² For `God' shall hurl at him, and not spare: He would fain flee out of his hand.

²³ Men shall clap their hands at him, And shall hiss him out of his place.
