³ And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

³² who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practise them.

¹ Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judges another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest dost practise the same things.

¹⁴ But he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

²⁵ See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not when they refused him that warned `them' on earth, much more `shall not' we `escape' who turn away from him that `warneth' from heaven:

³ how shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation? which having at the first been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard;

³ When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

⁶⁰ But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

⁵⁸ And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art `one' of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.

⁵³ Or thinkest thou that I cannot beseech my Father, and he shall even now send me more than twelve legions of angels?

³³ Ye serpents, ye offspring of vipers, how shall ye escape the judgment of hell?

¹⁹ And he said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he spake unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

¹⁸ For he hath despised the oath by breaking the covenant; and behold, he had given his hand, and yet hath done all these things; he shall not escape.

¹⁵ But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? shall he break the covenant, and yet escape?

⁵ Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to Jehovah: `Though' hand `join' in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

²¹ `Though' hand `join' in hand, the evil man shall not be unpunished; But the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

⁷ Shall they escape by iniquity? In anger cast down the peoples, O God.

²¹ These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such a one as thyself: `But' I will reprove thee, and set `them' in order before thine eyes.

² Thinkest thou this to be `thy' right, `Or' sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God's,

³ But the princes of the children of Ammon said unto Hanun their lord, Thinkest thou that David doth honor thy father, in that he hath sent comforters unto thee? hath not David sent his servants unto thee to search the city, and to spy it out, and to overthrow it?
