Psalms 76
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Ref To the Overseer with stringed instruments. -- A Psalm of Asaph. -- A Song. In Judah `is' God known, in Israel His name `is' great.
2 Ref And His tabernacle is in Salem, And His habitation in Zion.
3 Ref There he hath shivered arrows of a bow, Shield, and sword, and battle. Selah.
4 Ref Bright `art' Thou, honourable above hills of prey.
5 Ref Spoiled themselves have the mighty of heart, They have slept their sleep, And none of the men of might found their hands.
6 Ref From Thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.
7 Ref Thou, fearful `art' Thou, And who doth stand before Thee, Since Thou hast been angry!
8 Ref From heaven Thou hast sounded judgment, Earth hath feared, and hath been still,
9 Ref In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. Selah.
10 Ref For the fierceness of man praiseth Thee, The remnant of fierceness Thou girdest on.
11 Ref Vow and complete to Jehovah your God, All ye surrounding him. They bring presents to the Fearful One.
12 Ref He doth gather the spirit of leaders, Fearful to the kings of earth!

3 Ref There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, The shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.
4 Ref Glorious are you, and excellent, More than mountains of game.
5 Ref Valiant men lie plundered, They have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.
6 Ref At your rebuke, God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a deep sleep.
7 Ref You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
8 Ref You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,
9 Ref When God arose to judgment, To save all the afflicted ones of the earth. Selah.
10 Ref Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.
11 Ref Make vows to Yahweh your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
12 Ref He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.

7 Ref Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?
8 Ref Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
9 Ref When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
10 Ref Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.
11 Ref Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
12 Ref He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
